I started competitive cheer when I was six. For the next ten years, it kept me fit and healthy, so when my cheer career ended, I wanted something that would help me to stay strong and active. My dad introduced me to weightlifting at his gym about three years ago and I’ve been in love with it ever since. Working out helps me to fight stress, stay active, and most importantly, stay strong. The benefits cross into my personal life too, by helping me to feel confident about myself and love my body. One of the best things about being part of JUSTSTRONG is hearing the amazing stories from the other women. Like them, I aim to inspire others to live an active, healthy life.
