Fitness has kept me sane through some very rough times, and I want to spread the message that fitness is about mental strength as much as physical. When I found JUSTSTRONG, I knew that I had to get involved. It meant so much to find a group of women wanting to stand up for each other, help each other, and empower each other through fitness. People see fitness as a way to lose weight and get toned, which is all true. But what many people don't realize is that it's also extremely therapeutic. I am strong because I encourage the mental health benefits that exercise and a healthy lifestyle gives us.
